Group Exercise Classes
All classes run June 17 – July 25
Members pay just $10 per class, guests of members pay $10+$5 guest fee. All classes will be on a drop-in basis, show up when you can and pay when you arrive – cash, credit or snack bar account!
Monday and Thursday 5:00-6:00pm
For everyone, not just for “swimmers.” Can you swim 50 meters, two lengths of the pool? Do you enjoy swimming and want to do it in a group and social setting? Do you need help with your technique? Then come on out and enjoy Masters swimming with Coach Dave Hardy. Dave has been coaching swimming for 21 years and would love to see you in the water with us!

For adults and their children, beginners to experts.Come release stress, detoxify, and heal. Class is designed for beginners to experienced yogis of all ages.It includes meditation, warm up, standing flow practice, twists, balancing postures, arm balances, forward bends, back bends, inversions, and closing relaxation! Sweat and breathe your way to new found strength, flexibility, peace, and empowerment! You can adapt the level of practice to your needs and rest as you need.Bring your yoga mat and any props you may need. Deep and shallow water, high energy and a lot of fun. Get and stay fit in a fun and exciting, low impact pool setting. Select the water aerobics class right for you!
Monday: Deep Water Workout
This water fitness program is held in the diving well of the pool and provides a no-impact but challenging cardiovascular workout. Participants will use flotation belts and Styrofoam barbells (provided) to perform a variety of motions including water walking and running, abdominal work and toning exercises. This class is designed to burn fat and increase cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and muscle tone. No experience is necessary.
Thursday: Shallow Water Workout
LaBLAST SPLASH AQUA CLASS
In this shallow water (chest deep) class you will experience music and dances from Dancing with the Stars while using the resistance of the water to create a muscle toning and fat burning workout. The easy to learn patterns are fully choreographed dances set to music selections from all genres and eras. It is fun and fitness all in one. No experience is necessary.
About Michele Balcerek – Yoga Instructor
Michele has been practicing vinyasa and hatha yoga since 2003. She believes yoga has changed her life physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her classes focus on creating self-awareness and letting go. Michele loves to share her passion for yoga both on and off the mat with all ages and abilities.
In 2010, Michele completed her 100-hour teacher training in Tulum Mexico, through Amazing Yoga of Pittsburgh. She was so inspired that shortly after she completed her 200-hour ISHTA Yoga teacher training through Thrive Yoga in Rockville, Maryland.
