Dear DSRC Families,
“The noblest art is that of making others happy,” a great thought that sums up our summer camp theme for 2019. Our staff is working hard to provide an enjoyable outdoor experience for our campers, which studies have shown, provide lasting benefits for both physical and mental health. Children learn best, and retain information most, when they are having FUN and our goal this summer is to provide days of happy and smiling children who are tired at the end of the day, but excited to come back the next day!
To help make this happen we have added our Tennis Pro to our camp team – Teri Boragno.
Teri, our Tennis Pro, will teach a one-hour USPTA afternoon tennis clinic daily for both beginners and experienced players, teaching them about the sport as a life-long recreational activity.
We are also happy to welcome Lauren Harper as our Camp Program Director this year. Lauren is excited to interact with the kids as she helps develop some great programing for this summer!
Please visit our website for upcoming camp announcements to support our summer theme!

Audubon Naturalist Society Partners with DSRC!
Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS), a local non-profit environmental education and conservation advocacy organization, had generously donated an Eastern Blue Bird nest box to DSRC, which will be mounted on a pole in our field. This wonderful addition the the DSRC property will be used as a fun hands-on educational resource for Camp Green Zone campers, as they learn about its habitat, which was once threatened doe to deforestation, but is now coming back! Thank you, ANS!
