Get Out There and Play!

disc golf course

In 2007 The Darnestown Demon Disc Golf Course was added to our property by General Manager Dave Hardy and Course Architect Dan Haines. Together they took the 16 acres owned by DSRC and have made it into an 18 hole disc golf course. The course was originally 9 holes and was transformed into 18 holes in 2009. Our course provides a variety of different shots, elevation changes and terrains making it a difficult, but beautiful, course. The Demon plays along a creek for 4 holes, and in and out of the woods, using fields to complement the heavily wooded shots.

The course is open to the public year round. Donations are welcome and will go directly to the maintenance of The Demon course. Dan and Dave continue to work to manicure and upgrade the course on a weekly basis, we hope that, as the course continues to get played, it will play itself into one of the premiere disc golf courses in the Washington, DC area.

Sponsorships

We are currently seeking local businesses and individuals to sponsor a hole on our course, the money will go towards buying the additional 9 baskets needed to have 18 baskets. Currently 9 of our ‘baskets’ are just buckets hanging from poles making it a basket/target course. The sponsor will have a sign placed on a hole of their choosing stating that they sponsored the hole along with their logo and any additional information requested. The sponsor will also have their logo along with a link to their companies web page posted here on the Disc Golf Course page of our website. Each sponsorship costs $400. Please contact Dave Hardy for more information or if you are interested in sponsoring the a hole.
